Sketched this today while the power was out in my house. 

It mimics a scene from Monster when detective Suk finds a way to confide in who he thinks is Nina.

But in this version, Carrie here doesn’t have any ulterior motives. And Al is still a bumbling alcoholic. also, i wanted to practise backgrounds and perspectives and actually putting effort into them.

i’ll colour this later.
